We are a research team based at University of Bath and University of Bristol. We are working with women with young children to plan a research study on respiratory infection (such as flu, coughs and colds).

Study aims

• to find out which children will get most ill and why, and when they are infectious

• to find out what new rapid tests for respiratory infection could be developed and how they might be used to try to reduce the spread of infection

• to work with parents to produce guidance on when and how they would like to use any new tests that are developed

How you can take part

You can take part in whatever way you like, including:

– joining online or in person groups

– having online or in person one-to-one discussions with team members

– giving written comments on our ideas online

You can get involved as much or as little as you want, and can stop any time without needing to let us know.
