The position requires an experienced housekeeper for a family who primarily resides outside of the United Kingdom. The primary responsibility will be to maintain and oversee the operations of the family's UK residence, which will constitute approximately 70% of the role. International travel will be required to accompany the family to their vacation properties in the United States or Europe as needed.
While there are no children currently living in the UK home, the holiday residence serves as a gathering place for extended family, including grandchildren and their parents. During these family visits, the post holder along with additional staff will be responsible for preparing the home and managing all the necessary arrangements to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for the family members and their guests.
The ideal candidate must be highly organized, discreet, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication with the homeowners. Post Requirements
Perform classic household chores, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, bed- making, and home coordination to a high standard.
Wardrobe management, with a strong attention to detail.
Handle grocery shopping, mail, and deliveries, and coordinate logistics for occasional repairs.
Communicate with maintenance personnel or property managers as needed.
Assist and accompany during travel (Travel destinations include the UK, Europe and the US)
Pack and unpack for travels.
Managing luggage, ensuring a smooth transition at each destination.
Travel destinations may include the UK, Europe and the US.
Housekeeper Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role with excellent references.
Mature, resourceful, and competent, with the ability to take initiative.
A strong sense of responsibility
A dedicated professional with an enthusiasm for their duties and a desire to consistently perform at their best even when unsupervised.
UK Passport holder for travel purposes

Position Type: Permanent, Live In, Full-Time.

Accommodation: Live-in, with a private bedroom (ensuite) provided.
Schedule: 5 days per week
Salary: £2500 per calendar month (the post holder will be responsible for ensuring statutory tax and N.I contributions are met (guidance can be provided)
