In this episode, Shalina speaks with Asma Begum (@isurviveddomesticabuse). A survivor of domestic abuse who has now become the founder and director of Soul Sisters. Asma discusses all the things leading up to her marriage, the abusive signs she noticed and how it had affected her. Now as the founder of Soul Sisters, Asma hopes to inform, educate and support others experiencing domestic abuse.
